1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and StreamPixie (“StreamPixie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you visit StreamPixie, create an account, submit content through an inbox, use a widget, call our API, or use our Twitch or Discord integrations.

You must be at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required in your country. If you are not old enough to agree to these Terms on your own, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf and is responsible for your use. You may use StreamPixie for an organization only if you are authorized to bind it.

2. The service

StreamPixie provides configurable browser-source widgets, reusable widget instances, message inboxes, community participation tools, APIs, and integrations for live streams and other displays. Features may be experimental or change as the service develops.

You are responsible for configuring your broadcasts and displays, protecting private widget and tracking links, and confirming that StreamPixie is suitable for your intended use. StreamPixie is not an emergency, archival, financial, medical, or safety-critical service.

3. Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, keep your password and API keys secure, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and credentials. Do not share private browser-source URLs, API keys, or message-status links with people who should not have access.

You may link more than one Twitch or Discord identity. You must own or have authority to use every account you link and every Discord server you manage. Features that monitor public Twitch activity may be configured for channels you do not own, but you may not use them to harass, impersonate, or misrepresent another creator.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of text, settings, names, messages, and other content you provide (“User Content”). You give StreamPixie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, format, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service at your direction. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backup, security, or legal retention.

If you submit a message to someone else’s inbox, you understand that the inbox owner may review, moderate, queue, display, skip, or delete it, and that it may appear publicly in a stream or display. Only submit content you have the right to share. Account owners are responsible for their inbox prompts, moderation choices, and public presentation.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use StreamPixie to break the law; infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; harass, threaten, exploit, or deceive people; distribute malware or spam; evade security or rate limits; scrape the service; impersonate others; expose credentials; or interfere with StreamPixie or another user’s experience.

Do not submit highly sensitive information such as passwords, authentication tokens, financial account details, protected health information, or government identifiers. Use of Twitch and Discord features must also follow those platforms’ terms, community rules, and developer policies.

6. Third-party platforms

StreamPixie can connect to services operated by others, including Twitch and Discord. Those services control their own accounts, APIs, availability, permissions, and policies. Linking an account authorizes the specific actions shown during setup; it does not make Twitch or Discord responsible for StreamPixie, or StreamPixie responsible for those services.

7. Moderation and suspension

We may investigate reports, remove or restrict content, suspend integrations, revoke API access, or disable accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or platform rules, address security risks, or enforce these Terms. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Report safety issues, illegal content, platform-policy violations, or abuse using the contact details below.

8. StreamPixie ownership

StreamPixie and its software, visual design, branding, and original assets are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

If you voluntarily send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, while we will not publicly identify you as its source without permission.

9. Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep StreamPixie reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow every disclaimer, so these limits apply only as far as the law permits.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, StreamPixie will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, broadcasts, or opportunities arising from StreamPixie. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the claim or US $100.

These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability caused by fraud or willful misconduct. You remain responsible for claims caused by your unlawful use of the service or User Content to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes and ending use

You may stop using StreamPixie at any time and may ask us to delete your account or personal data. We may change the service or these Terms as the product and law evolve. We will update the effective date and, when a change materially affects your rights, require you to review and accept the new version before continuing to use authenticated features.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes that the parties cannot resolve informally.
